Parallel Circuits Voltage measurements

note- in a parallel circuit voltage drop across any resistor connected in parallel will equal total circuit voltage drop, try measuring various resistors voltage drop, all readings will be the same.

Measuring Source Voltage

  1. Set mini-board to position 0

  2. Set DMM to the Voltage setting

  3. Connect leads as shown

  4. Read DMM

Measuring R1 Voltage Drop

  1. Set MB to position 1
