Circuit Description:

When the switch is closed current flows from the B+ through two branches of this circuit. Current flows through resistors R1 and R2, which or connected in series with each other and complete to ground back to the battery.  The other branch current flows through resistor R3 which is connected in parallel with the other branch containing resistors R1 and R2.
